Who we are

Who we are

Who are we?

At Milton Gateway we are Registered Nurses with teaching qualifications and over 40 years experience. We have developed our own clinical role in General Practice for the last 20 years and are now Non-Medical Independent Prescribers able to act as a role model for the autonomous practitioner.

Our wide expertise is within chronic disease management including; hypertension, diabetes and heart disease. Other areas of expertise are within family planning, sexual health, immunisation, wound care, spirometry, ear irrigation and cervical cytology.

Our sessions are interactive and we feel that it is important for learners to feel comfortable enough to ask questions however silly they think they may be.  As enthusiastic teachers we enjoy teaching in a relaxed style and feel each course is an opportunity to share good practice and to provide peer support.
